Pleade in action

To simplify the work of heritage valorization, Pleade operates around a 3-step workflow : ingest, diffuse and dissemine.

1 - Data ingestion

Pleade is natively compatible with several business formats. It is also specially designed to easily support any structured data format.

With the implementation of the OAI-PMH protocol, Pleade is able to automatically harvest and publish data from external web service.

2 - Data presentation

Once published, Pleade embeds a powerful search engine, allowing access to data from several search forms. That ones are highly configurable according to each type of need. Search results are then displayed in several formats (default mosaic, file plan, list, map ). To provide an optimal search experience, results can be filtered through facets. They can also be sort and they are paginated .

For each result, the user can, by a simple click, access the detailed presentation which can be a window containing the descriptive notice; Or the image viewer or media player for the digited data.

3 - Data sharing

Pleade is able to display its data according to the OAI-PMH and SRU/SRW protocols as a web service. Pleade also allows sharing the most important pages on the main social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus ).

Pleade also allows the follow-up of the updating of the documentary database by generating automatic RSS feeds.

4 - Go further with Pleade

With over 15 years of adaptations and enhancements, Pleade offers countless features that can be turned on or off depending on each need. The "Pleade in Action" section allows you to discover some of Pleade's features. To test all services with your own data, you can apply from the contact form.
